Sincarnate: Nothing left to give
23/01/14 || gk
Romania’s Sincarnate has been active since 2006 but Nothing left to give is only the band’s third release after an earlier EP and a debut full length in 2010. This is some powerful death doom though. The band mix big grooves with some delicate keyboards and strong death growls that are quite prominent in the mix.
Sincarnate also do a great job of mixing tempos going from slow, mournful melodies to big fat grooves to crushing doom riffs all in one song and it works to a large extent. Musically, these guys are somewhere close to Germany’s Disbelief but not quite as good yet. Still, there’s a whole lot of potential here and I’m looking forward to more from this band.
8/10: Very promising doom metal with some modern death metal influences.
After going thru that crap, you most likely wanna read something way more interesting. You do, admit it.
